After an extended glitch caused by unprecedented success for our sponsor Wide Area Communications the .designer is back up and running. As you might expect from .designer we show you how to make it happen without bogging you down in technical details, so you can get on with the business of making better Web sites.

When this site started I rashly announced that it would be updated fortnightly. Well, it didn't happen, and I'm never going to be rash enough again to make myself stick to a rigid schedule. Nonetheless, my karma needs some readjustment and committing more of my time to .designer will be how I go about it. So there will be more updates, but they'll come into the world when I have the time, not when the site demands.
