Using graphics:
Creating an underlaid background

Instead of using a colored or plain background behind your Web page, you may choose
to add an interesting underlaid tile background. Visual Page provides an easy-to-use
graphic interface for doing this.
To use a graphic tile pattern to underlay your Web Page follow these steps:
- In an open Web page document, click on the Document Settings toolbar button.
The Document Settings button looks like this:

- Click on the Background Image checkbox. An Open File dialog box appears. Locate
the graphic file you're going to use, select and open it.
After you open a graphic file, which contains a very small graphic, the graphic tile
space appears as shown here:
- Check the appearance of the tile on your page by clicking on the Apply button.
A graphic may look interestingby itself, but may not be appropriate for use as a
tiled background, as shown here:

- To try another background tile, click on the Background Image checkbox to deselect
it. Click Background Image again to recheck it, then repeat step 3.
- When you're satisfied with the background, click OK to display it on your Web
page.
