links: About image maps Unlike a piece of text, an image can have more than one link. An example of such an image might be a picture of a map where each name on the map is linked to additional information about that place. You create multiple links in an image by editing a Local Image Map in Visual Page. Visual Page provides a set of graphic tools in the Image Map windows which you use to outline, or map, links onto the picture. When you create a Local Image Map, Visual Page stores it in your Web page. This method makes the Visual Page image map links display fast, compared to the alternative where the Image Map is stored remotely, on a server.
